1. International Staff and Students Week

Description:
This week-long event fosters international academic collaboration, cross-cultural exchange, and professional development. It typically features:

  • Workshops and panel sessions on global trends in higher education.
  • Networking opportunities between UI staff/students and visiting international partners.
  • Cultural showcases to celebrate diversity in the UI community.
  • Campus tours and excursions for international visitors.

Purpose:
To deepen international partnerships, promote institutional visibility, and provide a platform for academic and cultural diplomacy.

2. International Students Forum

Description:
This interactive forum brings together international students at UI for:

  • Discussions on intercultural communication, integration, and welfare.
  • Workshops on academic success, adaptation, and support services.
  • Engagements with university leadership to share experiences and offer feedback.

Purpose:
To provide a voice for international students, improve their experience at UI, and foster mutual cultural appreciation and community building.

3. International Cultural Day / Celebration

(Sometimes held within the Students Week or Forum)
Description:
A vibrant display of cultural diversity where international students showcase:

  • Traditional attire
  • Food exhibitions
  • Music and dance performances
  • Cultural artifacts

Purpose:
To promote global citizenship, inclusiveness, and multicultural awareness among the UI
