Courtesy Visit from Aberystwyth University, UK to The Vice Chancellor, University of Ibadan

A Two-man team from the University of Aberystwyth, UK Dr. Luis Mur and Dr. Simon Payne hosted by the Department of Crop Protection & Environmental Biology, University of Ibadan, paid a courtesy visit to the office of the Vice Chancellor, University of Ibadan on Thursday, 20th April, 2017.

The team was received by the DVC Administration, Professor E.A Aiyelari on behalf of the Vice-Chancellor of the University of Ibadan, Professor A.I. Olayinka accompanied by the Deputy Registrar, Professor Victor Adegoroye, the Director, Office of International Programmes, Professor Oluwatoyin A. Odeku, , Dean of Faculty of Agriculture and Forestry, Professor B.O Omitoyin , Head of Department, Crop Protection & Environmental Biology, Professor A.A Omoleye, , Head of Department, Agric Extension and Rural Development, Professor A. E. Adekoya, , Head of Department, Forest Resource Management Professor O. Y. Ogunsanwo, Head of Department, Agronomy, Professor Victor. O Adetimirin, a delegate from Department of Crop Protection & Environmental Biology , Dr. Sifau Adejumo, a delegate from the Department of Agricultural Economics, Professor Bola Omonona, , and a host of other facilitators.

The Two-man team visited the University to deliver a lecture at the Department of Crop Protection & Environmental Biology to enhance internationalization and foster more possible collaboration within the Faculty of Agriculture and Forestry as well as other Faculties within the University.

The DVC Administration Professor E.A Aiyelari on behalf of the Vice-Chancellor thanked and welcomed them to the University of Ibadan. He stated that the University of Aberystwyth, UK should intensify her effort in initiating Memorandum of Understanding with the University of Ibadan.

The visit ended by a group photograph and presentation of gifts to the guests by the DVC Administration, Professor E.A Aiyelari on behalf of the Vice Chancellor, Professor Abel Idowu Olayinka.
